Betas sought/offered
We had a request for a beta post a few weeks ago. Since moving to Dreamwidth pretty much leaves ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
bbbtalk defunct, we thought this might be a good idea.
So, here you go! If you need a beta or want to offer, leave a comment here. For clarity, we suggest titling your comment either BETA WANTED or BETA OFFERED. Don't forget to leave an email address!
If you are offering, please specify which bands, warnings, tropes, etc, you are/aren't willing to read. Letting people know if you specialize in SPAG, plot/flow, canon, or something else, or all of the above, is also helpful.
If you are requesting, try to keep it general for the fun of anon's sake (e.g., 'I need a beta for a 25,000 word MCR fic!'), but make sure that you give your beta warnings if someone does email you. You can also specify what kind of beta you need (SPAG, overall pacing, canon, whatever).
Hopefully this will help! Three of the mods are grammar fiends, so we're big proponents of getting your fic beta'd. ;)
We're about halfway there--rough drafts for Wave 1 are due May 10. Good writing and podficcing, everyone!

I specialize in: Grammar, plot flow, character voices, finding plot holes, detail checker
My style is: change color (typically red) of physical changes (one to two words) and use notes to suggest changes (if the change is bigger than three words)/make comments
My turnaround time: **These times are averages - sometimes I work quicker and sometimes I take longer (I always will notify you before I start if I will take longer than usual)**
- Less than 2k: 48 hours
- 2k - 10k: 4 to 5 days
- More than 10k: 7 - 10 days
