BBB 2014 Wave One Submissions Guidelines
All right, awesome peeps, your fic(s), mix(es), and art(s) are all due in today! As long as it is Sunday, July 20 in Alofi, you are good to go.
As of right now, we will assume any artist/mixer that hasn't responded to the check-in email is a drop out. Authors: we assume that if you turned in a rough draft, you will turn in a final draft.
Authors, remember that the posting period is July 23 to July 27. If you have any days you can not post, let us know when you turn in your fic!
Behind the cut you will find your submissions guidelines for fic, mixes, and/or art.
- Fics should be attached as a .doc, .rtf, .html, or similar file. Do not copy and paste your story into the body of the e-mail.
- Fics must be at least 20,000 words with no scene placeholders or outlining. This draft should be very similar to what you intend to post to the community.
- Send an e-mail in the following format to bandombigbang@gmail.com.*
Subject: BBB 2014 Wave One Final Draft #xx
Body:
Your username(s)
Your e-mail address(es)
Your summary number
Band(s)
Pairing(s)
Word count:
Rating:
Warnings: (All drafts must have the required content warnings if needed [rape/non-con, dub-con, incest, character death, suicide, self-harm, graphic violence, sexual content involving a child, eating disorders, addiction, and/or abuse].)
Summary: (Ideally, this is shorter and less spoilery than your mix/art claim summary!)
- Mixes should be zipped into one archive file and uploaded. We need you to e-mail us your LJ/DW/Tumblr username, the summary that you claimed, the URL to the mix file, and the tracklisting.
- Art should be attached to the e-mail. At minimum, we need you to e-mail us your LJ/DW/Tumblr username and the summary that you claimed. Please be considerate and warn for things like blood, sexual content, etc.
- After we have received everyone's materials and/or arranged pinch hits, we will start sending out posting date e-mails, which will have more details about posting.
*Please use the same e-mail you signed up with unless you have notified us otherwise!
