Summary:

The kid had been sitting on the bus-stop's bench for hours. He'd already been there before Pete arrived at the shop to start the morning baked goods at four-thirty. It was almost ten now, so the kid had either missed six consecutive busses, or he didn't have anywhere else to be.

Which of course meant that Pete was going to have to see if he needed a place to stay. Gabe was going to kill him for bringing home yet another stray.
