Apologies and updates!

So, this mod's life pretty much imploded and melted down into a big puddle of goo. Massive apologies for disappearing for so long.

At this point, we're running behind - Wave One writer sign-ups were supposed to close two days ago and rough drafts for Wave One are due in a month.

I just want a quick count of how many people are on schedule and how many are not even close. If it seems like there are a lot of people who would benefit from having more time, we may push back the schedule for Wave One.

If you are waffling about signing up as a Wave One writer, now is definitely the time to commit one way or the other. We will close the sign-ups next Thursday, April 24th. And keep an eye on the comm; we'll be putting up resource type posts soon. \o/

I was thinking of signing up for wave 1, and could have had a 20k draft by the deadline, but the story looks like it's going to be a 50k story and I don't think I can get that done by the actual posting deadline! So I think I'm gonna fall back to a later wave/another time.

Which is why we're asking. We might push the Wave One deadline back if there's enough interest.

OK, well I'll keep an eye on things and if the timing looks like it might work, I'll consider wave 1... but I have a heap of work/life/travel around that time so idk. Either way the fic will happen for *some* wave or other!

I should be able to make the May 16th deadline, all my busy busy stuff is due between next week and May 10th so that'll give me at least a week to get the few hundred more words I need. but I seriously need a beta. Since, like, a month ago. I spotted your beta post and I'll be sure to comment on that.

We'll (sceptick and I) be able to make wordcount, but the story itself will probably not be fully complete by draft deadline since we're probably looking at 40k here. It'll be done by final posting, but pushing the schedule back would help us out!

Sorry for the delay - the deadlines for Wave One have been pushed back by exactly a month. Those are the only changes.

I should be on track to finish for the may 16th deadline but would NEVER complain if extra time was given(also question, If the deadline for wave one is pushed back...will that in turn push back the other 2 waves?)
