Okay, folks, here we go. Everyone who was supposed to check in for art and mixes has checked in. Right now, there's only one summary that needs a pinch hit (either art or mix, or both) - if you are interested in helping out, shoot an email to bandombigbang at gmail.

Beyond that, there are three stories that don't have a mix and four stories that don't have any art, and it would be really nice if every story got a mix and art. So if you've finished your assignment, or you haven't snagged a claim, it's not too late. Art claims here, mix claims here.

Wave One final due date for authors, artists and mixers: July 20th
Posting will be happening July 23rd to July 27th

Wave Two final due date for podficcers, artists and mixers: July 25
Posting will happen July 28th

I'm...ummm..slightly confused. If only one summary needs a pinch hitter....and the mixing post went into doubleclaims(which means every summary was picked ONCE)...how are there three stories without a mix(wouldn't those be pinch hitter options) ?

Or is it one of those things where a summary got picked for both but the mixers backed out and there's art for the summary...but then if so...it doesn't show WHO those three summaries are on the mixer summary snag post(it only shows the summaries chosen for a second mix) so how do you know?

Maybe you're over thinking this. It's not a word problem.

At this point, we have one summary which does not have either a mix or art. If you are interested in pinch hitting, please let us know and we'll send you the details to see if the summary is within your ability to create for.

Otherwise, you can visit either the art or mixer claims page if you would like to claim a summary.

No I'm Good...and I know it's not a word problem...but you made a point with this post to SAY that it would be NICE if every summary got BOTH a mix and art. So you helpfully linked to the mixer's claim post. However, if someone were to go there to SEE those three summaries they wouldn't see them. That is what confused me.

What about the timeline for Wave Three, is it still as originally planned? Or has moving Wave One forward back a month pushed it too forward back? (I'm asking since I just noticed that artist claims for Wave Three is supposed to happen on the 26th.)

Summaries for Art and Mixes will go up on Saturday, July 26. Check-ins happen on Tuesday, August 19. Everything is due on Friday, August 29. Posting run from Monday, September 1 to Saturday, September 6.
